Gilliatt is a woolen yarn of soft white French merino (MĂ©rinos d'Arles from Provence) and black Portuguese merino (Merinos Petra from Alentejo Valley) produced in France in an ecological way.


De Rerum Natura yarns are semi-woolen spun, meaning that it has the lofty airiness of a woolen spun yarn and the smooth look and feel of a worsted spun yarn - it's the best of both worlds! This yarn has a unique bounce to the finished product, making it perfect for a whole range of projects. While Gilliatt may look rustic, it still has the softness we all know and love from Merino.
