Natural Yarn Bundle Dyeing with Pine & Cactus - March 29
Tickets are $95 each and can be purchased from Pine & Cactus through the link here.
Â
Please note: We are hosting this workshop but purchases are made through Pine & Cactus. If you have any questions, you can reach out to her here.
Â
We are so excited to host Amanda Harper of Pine & Cactus for a Natural Bundle Dyeing class featuring our own Ampersand yarn. She has so kindly developed this special class and we are so looking forward to seeing what everyone makes!
Â
Amanda first learned about natural pigments from a workshop she took in Santa Fe and has been hooked ever since! She finds joy in connecting the creative process to nature, place, and community. As a teacher, she’s excited to share this and inspire others to discover the beauty of working with natural color.
Â
This workshop is specifically designed to achieve that dreamy, speckled effect with La Mercerie's exclusive Corriedale wool base - Jenson DK from Ampersand Fibers. Using locally grown and ethically-sourced botanicals, you'll leave with an introduction to natural dyeing, understanding of yarn preparation, the rainbow of color locally available, and how to make one-of-a-kind sustainable fibers. Beginner, no experience necessary.Â
Â
This class is held at our shop on Bainbridge Island on Sunday March 29th from 10:00am - 12:00pm.Â
